Wikipedia or Perish

Interesting piece from Nature News: “Anyone submitting to a section of the journal RNA Biology will, in the future, be required to also submit a Wikipedia page that summarizes the work. The journal will then peer review the page before publishing it in Wikipedia.”
Wow. That might amount to actual peer review, as opposed to a journal asking a random postdoc to skim the article. (Or asking a senior prof to review the article, who then delegates the task to a postdoc.)
That sounds an awful lot like “original research.”
But Wikipedia has this nasty policy of “No Original Research”! This is not gonna fly is it? It should…
