All I Want for Christmas…
August 7th, 2009
I’ve been telling my family I want a new bike (since I’ve been riding the one I bought from Jeff Balogh regularly sinceĀ May, and I’m still not dead), but maybe I want a Faradayed wallet:
To help prevent surreptitious readers from siphoning RFID data, a company named DIFRWear was doing brisk business at DefCon selling leather Faraday-shielded wallets and passport holders lined with material that prevents readers from sniffing RFID chips in proximity cards.

Waddya mean? You don’t need a fancy wallet, RFID tags are easy to fix: http://skitch.com/wolever/b41ut/rfid-fix
I have already one ! lol
But not for same reason (and from another firm). I’ve bought one to protect my credit card from waves in my lab.
