Please Go Ahead and Mock Me…

October 5th, 2009

…I just bought another MacBook. After all my ranting about how much I hate Macs, I bought another one, because every PC laptop I could find in the same price range had a messed-up keyboard.  Enter your mockery below…

Hating Macs, like hating dishwashers, is it’s own reward…

    Mock mock mock…

But seriously, I hope this one works better for you than the last one. And you can, of course, just install WIndows on it. And Linux. And boot into all three.

How about a Thinkpad X61s – I prefer it over the wide screen X200s – and it should be very cheap in US

Insanity, trying to figure out what you mean by messed up keyboard.. Do they even make Macs that come with a number pad on the keyboard? *Resisting urge to crack on 1 button mouse*

The multi-touch trackpad is worth the price of admission alone, in my view.

One more vote for thinkpad X series. I have an X61s now and the keyboard is great.

Do professors get a special discount? Or does the job just pay very well =)

I considered getting a macbook with my money from GSoC (thanks again), but I considered the stats of a macbook and a PC laptop worth 2k, and chose the PC without hesitation.

I have to say, however, it’s really weird to be the only PC in a room of 10 people.

They “do you bad”, and you know it – yet you persist?

I think you need a trip to Mac-aholics anonymous, or maybe your family could arrange to grab you back from
    “the cult of Mac”.
