We’re Going to PyCon

The PyCon 2010 committee has just accepted our talk about Basie — we’ll see you in Atlanta in February!
Update: but getting there by train or bus will take almost 24 hours. My resolution not to fly for a year is being severely tested… 
You should revise those estimates. Taking the train from Toronto to New York can take the better part of 24 hours all by itself. Seriously. Worse yet, somebody invariably does not speak English and has no idea that they require a passport to cross the border, holding everything up well beyond the regular two hours it takes to check an entire train.
The bus is far superior in speed, but you also get _much_ more colourful characters.
Here’s hoping for the SF-LA bullet train on my coast.
