How many times have you heard, “In a perfect world, users wouldn’t need documentation to use the software”?
How egotistical of a developer must you be to have this frame of mind? More accurately, in a perfect world, we wouldn’t need software to solve our problems.
Making better software is a great idea. Making software that doesn’t need a manual is impossible for non-trivial programs, and frankly, I have enough trivialities in my life already.
