The Third Bit

I found out about this when I read an article online at CBC. Know what else? When I wrote a comment that even in Watts’ own book Maelstrom he portrays scenes of what is and is not a safe way to approach borders, it seems highly unlikely he’d cause a scuffle himself.

And the comment was censored 3 times. It hasn’t actually made light of day yet on that site.

Sad, what our country is becoming.

My husband and I witnessed your most unfortunate encounter with the American border guards on Dec. 8 , mid afternoon.
I must tell you we did not see the inital happenings, as there was a white truck in front of us. When the truck pulled away , we saw a most horrific scene. We saw you being maced, pumelled with the border guards batons, and then made to lie down on the ground with what looked like a weapon pointed at you. Then you were handcuffed, and made to get up and walk with about 8 officers. At no time did you retaliate or speak to the officers.
I must say we were both traumatized by the whole event. We hope you are well, and do not have any problem with the U.S. Jusice Dept.
