Interesting stuff. One of the first times I have seen AGW supporters stand behind limiting population, and pulling back standards of living.
I agree with a comment in the second article: The earth is a stepping stone to greater things. I also think humans are way to ingenious to let changing whether or dwindling fossil fuels be a long term impediment to humanity as a whole. Also, if we truly screw the pooch, wipe ourselves out and “destroy the planet” we will be but an eye blink in earths history and it will restore itself.
