I enjoyed listening to your conversation with Jon Udell. I was in academia for a short stint past grad school and then left for the business world. I’m struck by how much of what you talk about is directly applicable to business analytics. So much analysis is done in spreadsheets and cobbled together scripts. Not unlike the science community, there’s a HUGE need to increase analyist abilities and to get some set of core foundation about analytics. I’m glad that the interview with Jon exposed me to your work.
