  11. Stephen Rumble

    Congratulations!

Does this mean the term ‘gregling’ for 49xers will need to be modified to connote lack of biological relation, so as not to confuse with the introduction of a first order gregling?

  12. Myro and Alina

May the best things in Madeleine’s life be the worst things she’ll have to deal with!

The baby looks beautiful, as does the mother. Why doesn’t Madeleine have a funny shaped head just a few hours after labour like my babies? I wish you lots of joy…and lots of sleep!

  40. Allie

Gregory and Sadie. This is a scolding.
Okay, first of all, huge congratulations of course.
But now to the scolding: Whatever happened to me being your favourite neice (Greg)? Or maybe even favourite neice/nephew? … or did I loose that title as soon as I started speaking up and being cheeky with you? BECAUSE…you TOTALLY could have named her Madeleine (which I love, and appreciate you using the french spelling) EMILY Wilson, instead of Erica. Because then you’d still get the MEW thing, and you’d have part of the Wilson side in the name (the last name doesn’t count), and I would love you even more because it’s MY middle name too. And I checked, there’s no rule saying you can’t have two children in the family with the same middle name. So THERE.
I wish I could come and visit my new red-headed cousin, but they insist on keeping me in this …um…ok, i’ll be polite and stick with “hospital”, for a while longer.
All of my love to my new Toronto family. Sadie, I’m truly glad you’re doing well.

    Loves,
    Allie.

  41. Paul Lu

    Congratulations, Madeleine, Sadie and Greg.

If I CSI-enhance the photos enough, I think I can see that Madeleine
already has the finger dexterity to use emacs. Oh no. :-)

All the best from Kim, Diane, and Paul.

  42. Alison, Alistair, James and Izzie

Congratulations both, and well done Sadie! Madelaine is beautiful.
As you now know, this is the most wondrous and scary thing you have ever done! I hope she sleeps, but even if she doesn’t it won’t matter..all kids do by the time they get to college :)
Presently just finishing off the first Disney trip……just wait……

  43. Cindy & Dominique

Oh my goodness – what great news! Congratulations, Greg & Sadie on the arrival of your lovely little girl. As I’m sure you’ve already heard from many, it is the most rewarding thing that you’ll ever do in life…and the most difficult job at the same time. Welcome to parenthood – enjoy every second!
    Hugs,
    Cindy & Dominique
